Yet another animal; I so love drawing animals... This one was a somewhat shorter drawing in manner of time, about an hour. I've had lots of practice with horses. His eye is somewhat strange, so pay it no heed. ;)

Thank you very much. I'm still trying different versions of shading, and sometimes I go a little light because I fear ruining the picture, heheh... I'm slowly forcing myself towards more contrasting shading to make certain parts show better. I'm glad you liked it.

It really is. I pulled it out of an American Civil War painting, and it turned out to be harder than it looked. I'm happy with most everything except the face. If only horses were made out of legs and nothing else... :) But thank you for the compliment. Like I said above, I'm working on better
-darker- shading all the time.

You are doing great work :-) It looked like a particularly difficult perspective on that one and I think overall you handled it really well and it looks great!
